How To Open a PDF File (Ebook) - and If It Won't Open - How To Fix It!

So you're on a page with an Ebook file.  The ebook is a link of some kind, just like any other link - but instead of left-clicking, you should Right Click on the link.  This way - you can choose exactly where to save it on your computer!

Right-click on the link and choose "Save Target As."

Save the book in your My Documents folder.

Go to My Documents and open the file.

If the book does not open, then do this:

Go to My Documents and go to your saved file of the book, but don't open it - instead, Right Click on the name of the file (do not open the file, just right click on the name of the file). That will open a box.

Then go to Properties.

In Properties, look for "Opens With" - it should open with Adobe Reader. If it is opening with something other than Adobe, then it is trying to open with the wrong program and it won't open correctly.  Change what it opens with to Adobe Reader.

If your book still will not open, then you may need to update Adobe Reader. (You may have an older version of Adobe Reader.)
